Home of late WWII veteran sells in Poway

The four-bedroom, two bath former Poway home of the late Chester Alumbaugh sold for $625,000 to Brian and Christine Adams on June 4.
The home, located at 17504 Tam O Shanter Dr. in Poway, was built in 1977.
The late Mr. Alumbaugh was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II and a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. He was also a retired retail general manager for J.C. Penney.
He died on April 27 at the age of 87.
