Biopharmaceutical patent agent spends $1.2M on Poway 4BD

Paul Omholt and his wife, Aida Sacaan, bought a four-bedroom, 3.5 bath at 14197 Arbolitos Dr. in Poway for $1.2 million from John and Janice Kowalski on March 28.
The Kowalskis paid $567,500 for the property in Aug. 1996.
The 3,602 square foot home was listed for $1.35 million.
Mr. Omholt is a patent agent for BrainCells Inc., a San Diego-based biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of breakthrough therapeutics for diseases of the central nervous system. He is also the director of the Banck Clinical Research Center in La Jolla.
He has previously served as a patent agent at Vical and David R. Preston and Associates, as well as an associate scientist at Celgene. He attended Pace University's Pleasantville/Briarcliff Campus in Pleasantville, N.Y., and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
